Works randomly... too many tracks one 1 page?

Hi. I had this plugin working correctly but now all of a sudden there are hiccups. See link above. I feel like all the tracks are working randomly. If I delete, re-upload and reinsert a mp3 file to fix a non-playing track, it works. Then if I refresh the page once or twice, it won't play again (reads 0:00 - 0:00 on the track time). This was working a few months ago where all the tracks played successfully on this page, but I feel since the most recent post was published to the page (titled Johnnie 99), the tracks have been screwy.

Does it have to do with too many instances of the player on this page?

Thanks for your help and great plugin overall!

Yep, this sounds like the same issue I'm having currently.
(See previous post.)
Some tracks work, and some don't.
Looking forward to a fix soon, or I'll need to get a differnet solution.

What browser are you guys using? I'll try to reproduce the error.

Mawkus,

Make sure your filenames are EXACT.
I found that upper/lower case makes a difference, and now everything works.
Good luck.

Great plugin/music player but it does have some kinks to work out. I'm now having this issue where some of the songs work and some don't. Then other times they start working again. Could it be something to do with the loading of the track? When I press play, it feels like the player has a hiccup and then gives up on trying to load the mp3 file. I dunno....

@Ferndog: What do you mean by exact? Exactly like what...did u take spaces out of the filenames and make it all lower case? In that case, should the track name be the same way as the file name? <a href="...track-filename.mp3">track-filename</a>?

Raize, when I read what you wrote ("...it feels like the player has a hiccup and then gives up on trying to load the mp3 file") I thought of the issue I posted, "Some files sound like gibberish and are short" (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=65)

My page has 20 items. 15 have been there awhile and have always worked. The other 5 were added two days ago, and at first none of them worked. But now 3 of those 5 are working, and I haven't made any changes at all.

The page is http://www.brewsterbaptistchurch.org/ab ... radio-ads/

I tried using posting using a foolproof naming system (no upper case, no spaces, consistent) and that didn't change the behavior at all.

Okay, all of mine are working now. This is a page with 20 items (http://www.brewsterbaptistchurch.org/ab ... radio-ads/ )
I wish I could tell you the one thing that worked on the 5 that were troublesome, but I don't know for sure.
So, some seemed to have fixed themselves, and some seem to have responded to a re-edit and re-upload. In the re-edit process (I was using Audacity this time around), during the export to MP3 I switched the ID3 tag from ID3v2 to v1.
